Dead Leaf Mantis

I have written before on the art of camouflage which is so prevalent here but this guy pretty much wins the prize.  I saw it on the steel on the window and thinking it was a dry leaf I flicked it off only to my surprise have it hop down and land on the window sill.

Turns out that it is a Dead Leaf Mantis.  Honestly he looks more like a dead leaf than a dead leaf.  Look at where the water 'pooled and dried' leaving a white spot near the wing tip....amazing!!
