Inside the Garage

When I came in early November they had just started on the garage. By the time I left they were ready to start the second story. This is the first level on the inside showing the arched doors.
Opposite the doors is this bayed out area. This is bigger than it looks. It is 9 feet across and about 6 feet deep. Harry will have a workbench built around in here so that he can work on his hobbies and never have to take a step. There will be sliding doors to seal the area off so that we can run a dehumidifier and hopefully keep his tools from rusting too quickly.
Just a closeup of the bayed out area. When this is on the upper level it will be where the kitchen table sits so that our guests can enjoy their coffee in the morning and watch the birds.
This shot shows the stairs coming into the garage from the outdoor cooking area. To the right at the top of the stairs, behind the wall, the rest of the stairs will go up to get to the second level where the guest suite will be located. The large opening to the right is to accomodate the large water storage tank. This tank will ensure that we have water at all times. If the local system fails it will be filled from the well.
Just a shot under the stairs. The floor is not poured yet and neither are the stairs but the pumps for the water system will be located here.
