New Years Eve Party at the Push

Carmelo and his friend Florence came down here on the 29th. Florence was intrigued by the concept of the Push. You may remember my post about the Push from January of last year. If you haven't read it or have forgotten then check back in January and look for El Descanso AKA 'The Push'. So what did we do on New Years eve?. Well,we decided to check out the Push and see exactly how they operate. The plan was to have a picnic and then play cards to kill the 2 hours for which we would have to pay. We shopped that day for supplies, wineglasses, playing cards etc. and of course fireworks for midnight. That night at about 9:00 we headed out on our adventure.
We arrived there at about 9:30. There are rows of garage doors, some were opened and some were closed. We first chose door #9. That was a mistake as it was a junior suite and we wanted the senior 'delux' suite. We backed out of that slot and into the next one that was labeled 'Senior Suite'

There was a doorbell which we rang. As soon as we rang it the garage door closed behind us.
Then we noticed a slot in the door. Carmelo and I went to the door and a voice demanded a 'deposito'. I asked how much and she informed us it would be $25. That was the full posted price. We shoved $25 into the slot and a bolt slid back on the door. As we entered the suite we saw a body disappear out another door at the back of the suite.
Here is Carmelo getting ready to strip off for some 'action'!!
Our suite was big. It had a Jacuzzi tub in the corner by the door and then a large bathroom at the back. There was a red circular staircase winding upstairs to the bed area. The bed was made of tubular steel and attached firmly to the wall. It was totally squeak proof. There was no bedding except for a sheet and 2 pillows.
After taking pictures of the group grope on the bed we laid out the picnic. Florence had insisted we take a table cloth as she wasn't about to eat on the bed sheets. A few glasses of wine and much food later we packed it away and hauled out the cards. Before we knew it was time to go. We were packing up when the phone rang and a voice informed me it was time to leave now.

We got everything packed up and pressed the button again. This time the door didn't open but the door to the suite was locked. We were getting worried as we were a bit trapped and it was getting warm. It turns out that they needed to check the suite for contents before the would let us leave. Everything mush have checked out OK as they finally opened the door again and released us.
On the way out we noticed that there were some open doors that had a pail turned upside down in the doorway. We figured that those were the used units that were being cleaned. They were doing a brisk business. Finally our curiosity was satisfied.
We headed back in time to set off our fireworks. Carmelo was going to bring a drink of Grand Marnier to the night watchman but I didn't want him to have a drink as I thought it would make him sleepy. Turns out he was pretty much sloshed. He was "Feliz Ano Nuevo-ing" everybody over and over again. One final glass of wine and we went to sleep, probably about the same time that the watchman passed out I am sure.

Gee, sorry I missed it! Butch seems to be enjoying the group grope almost as much as Florence.
