The back patio area is much more finished now. These are the 2 windows looking into the
living room with the door to the right. The door to the left leads into the
MBR. The bricks have been plastered and any imperfections filled with gypsum. The columns have been topped and the inside of the arches smoothed. Abigale does a beautiful job of his arches. Thank God because I have so many of them. The walls will be sanded and a coat of primer put on in the next few days. I counted 17 men working on site today so they are really putting the push on to get it done.
You can see the door better here and through it the door to the kitchen. The 2 windows to the right of it are in the eating area of the kitchen.
Now you can see the steps from the kitchen leading down into the outdoor eating area. This whole area will be within the steel in the arches so there will be no need to put bars on any of these windows. We are finding that the house seems very cool when we get out there. Mind you it is not stinking hot at the moment but by the same token there are still no tiles on the roof and no ceiling either, both of which will contribute to keeping it cool.
