Next we went to another location overlooking the city where there was a statue erected in honor of the founder of the city.
Apparently he was nameless but he did found the city in 1559, not long after Columbus discovered America. Since the first Spanish settlement was established in Columbia in 1510 I'm guessing he worked fast.
He did have a lovely view of the city though.
Just a picture of Steven and I that I liked, nothing more. The sun was in my eyes so I borrowed (actually stole) his hat. Donna says I look good in hats, I think what she means is that I look 'better' in a hat.
