Sorry it has taken so long to make my first post of the year. This is Christmas with a REAL poinsetta. This plant was a gift from my friend, the gardener's son Cholo. He gave it to me for mother's day Dec 8th 3 years ago. I planted it and each year have to cut it down before I leave. You can see it stretching out into the background above our heads...crazy.
Christmas was quiet with dinner over at Donna and Ron's, they were great hosts. John, Mara and Mateo came over as well. We did a pot luck of sorts with turkey and the works, it was fun. We ate early and played cards later in the evening and then ate some more.
