Taken the day they were planted July 7, 2010
Taken when I came back last year Oct 30, 2010 - 3 1/2 months.
Taken when I left this year Apr 20, 2011 - 9 months and first of the bananas on the way.
Taken when I returned this year Nov 15, 2011 - 16 months.
This is the original stem cut off (they only produce once) and one of the daughters which is about the same size as the original planting from 16 months ago.
And the piece de resistance ta da! 2-3 more weeks...we have 4 bunches like this
