At times just for diversion we take a drive up the mountain to the town of Guadalupe just above Cerro Punta. This area is quite cool and is the heart of the vegetable growing country of Panama. It is a very beautiful area and I never tire of the countryside. This year when we were up there I snapped a couple of photos that I though were exceptional and wanted to put on my blog. I love how the rows of vegetables in this first photo seem to lead you to the mountain side where the patchwork quilt effect starts
