Plastering the Walls

After the cement bricks have gone up and the beams are all poured then the process of plastering begins. They call it repello (I am not sure how this is spelled) They put the mud on and then level it with a board. After that they smooth it with a trowel alternately splashing it with water and then cement powder.
The end result is a fairly thick coat of cement that levels out all the irregularities.
You can see how they have plumed the end of this wall with the coat of cement. There is another topcoat applied after this to make them almost as smooth as drywall.
