There are several crews working on the house at any one time, ergo there is different equipment around. We have proper sets of scaffolds and one nice ladder that belong to the builder and then there there are the other sets of equipment constructed after a fashion as the need arises. I noticed quite a few being called into service the other day and snapped these few photos. I particularily liked the scaffold that the repayo guys were using for the sills on the window. If you look at the bottom-most ladder a keen eye will reveal an extention ladder. You can see that it has been extended at least once or perhaps twice to make it longer. Some of the wood in these is a hardwood and these can be heavy!
