So finally we had the obligatory 'roof is on' party. There was no
mondongo served just plain old
KFC and pizza. Everything was eaten. The tin is on and has been painted with tar and as soon as they arrive the roof tiles will be applied. Unfortunately, the guys that put the roof on were not here today. They were here yesterday but not today. So apparently, they missed out on their own party. As you can see the house is looking much more finished.
This is the entire construction crew minus the 3 fellows that put the roof on. The man on the far right is the architect that did the drawings to Panamanian standards and the man beside him is Abigail our builder. The big dude in the middle with the
KFC bucket is Pedro, my favorite. He is a local Indian and is always smiley and happy.
This is our friend Norma with her husband Turk (deep in the corner). They came out to celebrate with us.

th - and our 35
th wedding anniversary I might add. We
are not doing anything special, we are saving it for our trip to Florida next week. That will be special enough.

fun fun! I like seeing the guys..Pedro looks like he was having a great time with the KFC. Love the house..looking good.
