Do you remember the steel grid for the ceiling in the office. The ceiling when finished will look like an X and O game. Well, below is the grid finally with the drywall on it. It is ready for painting as it sits. Now you can make sense of the picture above which I posted some time ago. The
drywaller, as much as I love to hate him, has done a beautiful job. The grid is pretty much perfect.

When it is painted they will install the molding at the bottom of this next picture. The molding will be painted a medium brown and will go in the highest part of the 8 sections which are at the top. There will be a pot light in the center of the 4 sections which are square and then there will be a really cute hanging light in the center part. O-o-o-o-o I can hardly wait for it to get finished.

This 'wood' is the tile I am putting on the floor.

In the center of the floor will be a octagonal design with the border below and then the tile beside it (which is the tile on all my floors) will be in a diamond formation in the middle of the octagon. That octagon measures 5 feet across. This will tie the different tile in the office to the rest of the house

The office is the last room in the house to be painted and have the lights hung with the exception of the bathrooms which have yet to be tiled. It will also be the most beautiful room me thinks.

Love the design of the tiling. That brown will look great - can't wait to see the end product - esp with the glow of the potlights too.
