We have quite a large covered outdoor sitting/cooking area. This area is secured by large sliding doors which can be locked for security at night or when we are away. This door is in the outdoor cooking area. above the door is closed and below it is open. There are 2 infrared sensors in these areas which will be attached to an alarm plus 2 security cameras which will make it even more difficult to break into the house from this side. We have gone to great expense with the security systems so that the watchman does not have to be there all the time if we are not around. He does live within earshot though if the alarm does sound. The alarm system will be tied to the police station as well, and since we paid for the repairs on their car I do expect to get 'exceptional' service, ya think?
I even dragged my furniture out and set it up here so that Linda and I could enjoy the noises of the wildlife in the day and evenings. This shot (above) was taken from the doors off of the MBR. Below the shot is taken from the outdoor cooking area. In this shot you can see the door to the MBR.
Below is a shot from the door which goes to the garage and guest room upstairs. This ceiling has not been finished. The outdoor cooking facilities are on the right and the door ahead goes into the kitchen.
The arches below are the sister arches to the 3 at the front. Again you can see the sliding door partly open. I will be happy when all of the scaffolds are out of the way.
