Yikes, Another Earthquake!

We had another earthquake 4 days ago rated 5.0. The following news clip put it as very shallow only 6 miles deep and 23 miles from David just east of highway 2. We live 25 km from David just east of highway 2. I figure it was about underneath our house. It happened at about 2:00 am and I was awake in bed. The bed started to shake like a cradle and then it shook a bit stronger. I hunkered down wondering if I should ride it out or make a break for the door. After about 10 seconds it quit but even after the bed quit shaking the house continued to groan and bang and I could hear the rumble in the earth reminiscent of a train passing for about the next 30 seconds. One small aftershock and it was all over...thank you God. I can tell you it got my heart rate up!

Only a few more cracks in the house. They say that after an earthquake then summer will start and the rains will quit. Well sure enough, it hasn't rained in David for 3 days. It has rained here but much less than before. They really swear by it.
