After they have bailed the water out of the hole out and then squared it up and lined the bottom with sand they start laying the bricks by setting out the corners.
Then 2 guys work from above, one dangling a plumb bob and the other eyeballing the approximate placement of the brick based on the location of the suspended strings. When I left this day they were WAY off but when I got back the next day Lo and Behold.....
it was level and square.
They finished it off with a final coat inside and poured the floor the next day. On the last day they made a concrete lid for it but oops, I forgot to get a picture...lo seinto (sorry)
